Is the UMP45 “good” for a beginner?

I can’t see anything inherently wrong with the UMP, but for a first airsoft gun I’d probably suggest an MP5, M4 or AK47 simply because of the wide availability of parts. My biggest complaint with the UMP is its small battery compartment. The magazine is quite large though, so like I said, there is nothing that makes the UMP a bad gun…but there is a trade off in battery capacity.

Mohammed,

I cannot say whether an airsoft gun would be allowed on an airplane. Given the potential problems that could arise from doing such a thing, I would STRONGLY suggest that you check not only with your country’s local laws but also with the airline you would plan on flying with. I can’t say enough how important it would be to make sure to check first before attempting to transport such an item!!!!
I would also inquire as to international shipping options as this might solve the issue.

honestly, I don’t know where to find the particular Echo 1 models you are looking for. It is possible that they are no longer making them of course, but I cannot say for sure. I’m sorry I can’t be of more help.

i was wondering if anyone knew if airsoft rifles are allowed in planes
the reason i am asking is because i am in saudi arabia and they dont have airsoft stores here
if they are not allowed on planes how else should i get it here
